Lidl Product Instructions

OH has just bought a Silvercrest Nutrition Mixer from Lidl. The instruction book is multilingual, and obviously the English part has been translated, rather than written by someone whose first language is English.

An example

"The cross blade attachment is suitable for stirring mouses"

Surely anyone who is paid to be a translator should know that the plural of "mouse" is "mice"!

Mouse would be savoury snack, perhaps only to be eaten one at a time?

Likely nothing to do wit has mice. Possibly just a transposition of 2 letters and should be mousse

I'm afraid that due to your sense of humour failure you very much should feel inferior.

Strangely that is what I thought 1.3 secs after first reading the sentence in the instruction book

Some kit these days just has picture guides and no writing at all. Solves all those translation problems at a stroke. Sadly the pictures can be even more confusing and less amusing than the comedy Chinese translations.

I once bought a Christmas decoration tinsel chain with instructions which stated...

"To get better looking, twist a lot"

Well, I twisted a lot and not only did I not get any better looking, I also strained my back. :(

And ThumbRemote replied to make himself feel Superior!

I'm just commenting because I'm observant before anyone asks (one person in particular)!
