Image PlaceHolders

Hi Guys (and gals),
I am looking for the kind of sites that host pictures for free.
For example, say I wanted to place a picture in this thread I couldn't do it directly through my options or load it directly from my computer. I would need external help, preferably without needing registering.

It's like you have a picture, you save it to your pc, go to one of these sites, load it up there and then take their html coding to have your picture showing in the site you want it visible in.

Anybody know these sites I am talking about?
I don't know what words to type in so as to get the result I need from a search engine.

Whilst I am here, what command on Windows XP do I use to take a screen image of my pc and what programs are there that I can use for free to take an image of something on the screen of my computer?

  • I use Photobucket - upload pics and it creates html, IMG tags etc
Print Screen button will capture your screen - or ALT and Print Screen to capture just the active windows.
You can then paste into Paint or if you need more functionality The Gimp

I think you have to sign up for photobucket. imageshack.us you can just use.
  • Thanks for these.
    Will check them both out.
