It's missing, I just know the expiry date.0 -
If you want to retain what is left and have the new MOT start form when the old one ends then its up to a maximum 28 days before the current MOT expiry so any date from 1/2/17 - maybe leave it til the 2nd Feb to be sure.0

To save the op the trouble of searcing for it themselves this took all of 30 seconds to find and copy from the relevant government website!
Earliest date you can get an MOT
An MOT lasts for a year. The date it runs out is printed on the last pass certificate.
You can get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date.
Example If your MOT runs out on 15 May, the earliest you can get an MOT to keep the same renewal date for next year is 16 April.0
