I'm currently using a firestick to run kodi....... but I'm interested in A bit of an upgrade, to make the most of my 50" 4K TV.
As per the title I'm looking for advice on the best Android box I can get without spending more than £100.
Any recommendations / advice welcome.
TIA

Best android box is not an android box, well it could be if you wanted..
A Raspberry Pi. Its a Kodi box using Android or Linux. Its a desktop computer if you wish. Its a retro arcade games machine if you wish..
And so much more. A selection of Micro SD cards and you can have it ALL.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
As you're already au fait with the Amazon Fire stick how about the Fire TV box which is 4K compatible, although I'm not sure how that translates when using it via kodi.19lottie82 wrote: »I'm currently using a firestick to run kodi....... but I'm interested in A bit of an upgrade, to make the most of my 50" 4K TV.

Thanks for the replies people I'm looking for something pure android I think rather than tacking on kodi on to an Amazon unit. Just interested in best processor , picture, storage etc I can get. Thanks!
I'm reasonably clued up now on the workings of kodi so keen to see what it can really do.0 -
Maybe the Raspberry Pi is the way to go then.19lottie82 wrote: »Thanks for the replies people I'm looking for something pure android I think rather than tacking on kodi on to an Amazon unit. Just interested in best processor , picture, storage etc I can get. Thanks!

I've not used one before......... is it simple enough to get to grips with?
I just viewed them as a clunky looking chip that kids used to learn basic programming (obviously not the case)!0 -
I got my partner the Google Nexus a couple of Xmases ago which she is very pleased with. This seems to be the closest current equivalent:

You can pick up the new one for $65 (dollars not pounds!) so it's well within budget and meets your spec of being Android. I've not use this but I reckon it's what I'd get now if I was in the market.0 -
