Weekly redundancy pay

Can anyone help..

My job was made redundant on 10th December 2016, which obviously resulted in me loosing my job.
The managing director advised and I quote from an email sent
'Of those made redundant, the company may not be in an immediate position to make lump sum payments. It will however ensure the weekly amount that each employee had been used to receiving, is maintained. So there is no hardship at this time.
It is intended that all payments to those made redundant will be completed in full, as a priority. Of the 8 weeks you are due, at least one will be paid weekly. And at the first opportunity to finalise your account, the company will do so.'

So I am now on week 5 of payment, they have decided not to pay me!! What can I do? I've emailed him as apparently his out of the country and no ones knows anything in the office as usual! Do they have to do a payment plan when paying weekly?

Thank you in advance

Perhaps they are going to send you the rest of the owed money as a lump sum.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
  • I know this isn't going to happen. They were recently on watchdog so they are that type of company! Still haven't been paid and no reply to my emails!
