Redundancy & holiday pay.

Evening all.
I'm after a bit of advice if you please.
About 20 of us have been told we are due to be made redundant so we queried about also receiving holiday pay as this would obviously be a help to many. Our company has said we must use the holiday accrued as it will not be paid. So am I correct in thinking this is against our employee rights and what is advised on many advice sites?
Many thanks.

You need to give more info.
Are you in consultation?
20 people has 30 day statutory consultation.
have they they put you on notice yet(should not before the consultation is finished).
how much notice
how much holiday.
company making you take holiday through notice is perfectly legal.
the contract may have terms that make it contractual.
without contractual terms it can still be possible with the right notice and depends on how much holiday and notice there is.0
