I am assuming this is a holiday home in the UK and not overseas?
There are pundits that reckon with the post-Brexit uncertainty and the Sterling's fall against the Euro, more and more Brits will be doing staycations. A fall in consumer confidence in the UK could see more and more holidays here. Plus the fall in Sterling makes visiting Britain attractive to overseas visitors. So to look at it a different way, you could potentially profiteer from Brexit.
I don't see any steep increases in interest rates for a long time. There is too much at stake for the banks' balance sheets. The property market is built on cheap borrowing.
In terms of long term property value predictions for holiday lets, who knows?0 -
I agree with Crashy I work in property so really would be in my interest to say the opposite but there is no denying it now Currently mainly nothing selling rather than huge price drops Small drops being offered but having no effect on shifting houses unfortunately0
