STOP Light Peugeot 206 cc

Hi,

I have peugeot 206 cc. I wasn't driving it 24 days, I wasn't in the city. It's very cold weather, -20 C.
I was thinking that maybe when I come home engine won't start but It did 😊
But there is a problem, STOP light doesn't stop, I didn't drive because it doesn't stop. I leave engine work around 4-5 minutes, sounds normal but Stop still light.
Any advice, experience?

Thanks

Do you mean your brake light doesn't come on or comes on but stays on?

Also, where in the country has it been -20C?

Some Peugeot's have STOP light up on the dashboard instead of a check engine light.

    Have a read of:

There are some checks you can do such as coolant and oil level, after that you will need to get any error codes checked.

If I remember correctly (it's been a few years since the demise of my 206), the STOP light on the dashboard usually comes on in conjunction with another light. Mine used to get the damp in it and occasionally only fire on 3 cylinders until it warmed up/dried out - in this situation it would light the engine management and the STOP lights.

OP - does it do this? Is there another light on at the same time?

(of course, it could just be Peugeot electrics....just saying :) )
