in IVA & DRO
My final payment to my IVA is March 1st. I enquired with my IVA company as I had not been contacted to do my annual review which they normally do at Christmas time. I phoned them and they said I dont have to do one since the IVA finishes March 1st. Normally I send them my p60 when I get it which is usually in my May pay packet. Do you think I will have send it to them?
The reason I ask is that I have paid more than I was supposed to into my IVA by 3k, always paid overtime etc. I am due to get a lot of overtime on my next paypacket. So I am thinking about not declaring it. If they dont want my p60 then they wont know.

I had a full and final IVA, but just before completion certificate I was asked to confirm no windfalls etc. I'm pretty sure had it been a normal IVA they'd have asked about overtime too
When I had my IVA I think the norm was you were supposed to tell about overtime within about a month of payslip (unless agreed otherwise)
You could take the chance that you won't be asked, or you could declare without being asked. The first route you may get lucky, but this may delay completion if they decide to dig further (I'm assuming here you should have told them earlier)0 -
Honesty is the best policy, but you could always work out what extra you should pay over using the 10% then 50/50 rule and put it away safe. If they ask you for it then you have it and could claim an oversight or pressure of work, and if they don't then happy days.
Personally, I would declare and have done with it, but I do see the temptation.0 -
Be honest at this stage of your IVA.
I had overpaid as I had given them everything over my initial sallary not realising the agreement said I could keep everything below an annual 10% rise. I was with Cleardebt. They paid me all my over-payments back. I wasn't realistically expecting them to...but there we are.
Don't sod it up at this stage0 -
thanks
I will just pay it as I always have done to be safe.0 -

IP firms get a lot of bad press, on here and elsewhere and sometimes it is justified, but it is nice of you to share a story of good practice, seems like you may have got one of the good ones.0
