Hi
Further to my earlier thread. My partner has now received a formal letter of claim from Wright Hassall. Any advice on the next course of action? Should this letter be ignored or is it time to reapond?
Thanks

I have not known them sue over a PCN (oh, since they lost/dropped two cases and had to pay the victim's costs in a Hospital site years ago!) I am certain that single claim would be them suing a company or landowner client over something. Sit tight, this is nothing. If they do not have your new address, just write and tell them that but NOTHING about who was driving, and do not phone them or write otherwise.
Lucky it is only APCOA!
Sadly, you could have seen this off soooo easily at POPLA stage if you hadn't ignored it, because APCOA can't hold a registered keeper liable. Hence why no-one contacts them and certainly no implying who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
