Mileage recorded incorrectly on MoT
They misread a 7 as a 1 and consequently I appear to have only done about 100 miles instead of 6000 in the last year. Do insurers use these figures to check you are doing the annual mileage you claim on the insurance application because this year it is going to look like I've done 12K miles instead of the 6K I'm insured for?
Is it worth trying to get this corrected now on the MoT and if so how would I go about it?

Ask the MoT centre who tested your vehicle to change it. This happened to me a couple of years and the centre dealt with it all.0

The MOT centre can correct any typos for up to 7 days, after that you have to get onto the DVSA.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
