Changing suppliers with a FIT.
My son has just bought a house with solar panels and a FIT. Both FIT and electricity only are EDF. (has oil) Both have now been re-registered in his name. EDF paperwork says he must use them in order to get his FIT. We are with Scottish Power for our FIT and their FAQ section makes it clear that you can take it with you or leave it behind with them when you switch. Confusing!
Anyone out their had problems switching when they have a FIT using the BIG companies - not the smaller ones that don't do FITs.
Thanks
