Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to carry out an HSBC debit card transaction for 12k?
Money is in current account and would be transferred to HL.

I don't see why not, the easiest way to find out is to do it and see what happens - if it's rejected you may be able to ring up and get it released. I once did a debit card transaction for £27,753.02 to pay the balance on a new Porsche Boxster.0

I've done £12500 on a debit card.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

It is. I've done two transactions +£10K with a debit card (it was a First Direct one, part of the HSBC group). For one they phoned me to ask some security questions before it went through, the other just went straight through.0
