Any Android experts

Did not know whether to post here or in the Mobile board but here goes.
We have just got a new phone, Moto G4 Play running android 6.0.1.

Old phone was on 4.1.1, but We liked the notification tone of Royal Horn which is not available on the new phone (very limited selection).

Is it possible to transfer from old phone (I cannot find the tones files in File Manager) or download ( I have googled but cannot find it)

Thanks for any help.

I am by no means an expert but I had the same problem with a notification that I was used to so I Googled the tone with the name and mp3 together and the word free and downloaded the file to my music app and then added it to my tones and then set it.

    Sorted.

    Paul.

Ps. Listen to the sound before you download it as some sounded particularly bad.

Install ES File Explorer on the phone.

Open it and select to look at Local then Device. (Your file system may be slightly different - this is from my Huawei P9 Lite running Marshmallow).

Select system then media then audio then ringtones.

Long press to select the desired tone, then press the 3-dots at the bottom right and select Copy To. Choose where you'd like to save the copy (e.g. SD card).

Then you should be able to access the file via your PC when you connect it to your phone by USB. Your friend could then copy it to a Ringtones folder on their own SD card and their phone should be able to see it.

I have downloaded es file explorer but it gives the same info as my File Manager. Just Internal storage and SD card.
No mention of Local or system.
I have examined all files, but no success.

Edit, to add when I click on Internal there is no Device or System to be seen.

In ES File Explorer I click the top-left "lines" to open out the side menu, then click on Local to expand it. Then I click on Device. This then shows me the root of the file system ( / ). From there I select system etc.

As I said, your phone (being Jellybean) may present the filesystem differently.

Now uninstall ES Explorer as it has all sorts of annoying pop ups and notifications.

Yes I noticed them and have already uninstalled it. But worth remembering it if needed in the future.
