Schoolboy error. I, I, I ....Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hmmm, I guess I did tell them I am the driver. I'm going to wait for the court letters, and I'll see if they're pursuing me as the keeper or the driver0

Regarding the £10 I paid to them, they have cashed it in. I believe they are acting like they have never recieved the payment. In my letter I did not write I am the driver. I simply wrote, "I parked my car".
After they cashed in my cheque, they sent me a letter as the owner (dvla acquired info). I replied to that letter telling them that there was a tech error and we settled this with £10. Two months later (a month ago) they replied to that letter, saying that the time for appeal is too late and they've instructed zzps to handle the case. Note: I sent the tech error letter the day after I received the NTK letter
I belive I do have a strong case if this does go to court.
Thanks once again everyone
By saying "I parked my car" is the same as saying you were the driver.
If this has been settled for £10 and they cashed your cheque then they have accepted this.
FORGET THE SWEAR WORD ... ZZPS .... They are just another bunch of low pond life which you can ignore0 -
Hi guys, I have been in the same situation. I have to getting quite a lot of letters from the solicitors Hansell and Wright that they would take me to court if I didnt pay the money. I have asked many people who have advised me to ignore the letters which I have been doing but now Im getting really worried about what to do ??
I have read on the internet but not sure what to do now. Someone HELP PLZZZZ.............0 -
I have to getting quite a lot of letters from the solicitors Hansell and Wright
That's odd, ZZPS normally use Wright Hassall letter-heading! Maybe they ran out. Why not search Google for 'BMPA Wright Hassall' and read the BMPA advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all
I’ve also just been sent a letter from ZZPS.
I parked in a permit area of a public car park by mistake.
I paid and displayed a valid ticket for the car park, however the floor I was on was not valid as it’s reserved for permits only!!!128580;
I argued the ticket as the only signage is on the roof of the parking level and on a sign near the exit lifts! Not on the bay!
They rejected my appeal and have now passed the fine to ZZPS and it is now £160 (originally £100)
If I don’t pay within 7 days of the letter they will start legal proceedings!
What should I do ?0 -
Apart from sending you to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread no-one will advise you when you hijack someone else's thread like this
Delete your post above, go to the FAQs and if you need to then post in the original thread you started over this issue0 -
The OP may want to read "Pinnel's" case from 1602 and decide if they want to continue asking questions.
It is never a good idea to part-pay in the same way it is not a good idea part paying and simultaneously revealing who was driving. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
