Black Forest

So me and the good lady are planning a bit of a European jaunt in late April early May.

So far I've got most things planned except for a couple of nights in a hotel or guest house in the Black Forest so would like recommendations please.

Ideally it should be within 400 miles of Calais and include parking and breakfast. We both enjoy a nice stroll so pleasant walks on the doorstep would be good but please be aware that over 5 miles walks start to become less of a pleasant stroll and more of a painful route march.

If you want to be with 400 miles of Calais, you won't be going to the Black Forest, you'll be about 50 miles shy!
