I'd look for somewhere else and when you find it, cancel this one.

They are trying to impose conditions that aren't on the website you saw. What is going to happen if you don't all turn up together? If there's a traffic jam and you end up arriving late, will they leave you locked out?

They may have a very good reason why they have limited hours. In that case they need to make it very clear before you book what these restrictions are. Alternatively do the same as thousands of other guest house and cottage owners and leave arrangements for the key to be collected from somewhere, or put it in a key safe.

Don't forget to check for other restrictions too, like only using hot water at certain time or having to be out of the house for set times.

I would cancel simply because when you get there they may produce a list of do's and don'ts that will spoil your stay. what on earth is a special welcome? maybe he's gonna kiss your booty
