Brunch ideas

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Couldn't find any similar threads in a search.
I am looking for fairly simple, inexpensive brunch ideas for 8 adults (including 2 veggies) and a couple of kids. Everything I find online seems very elaborate and involves quite a bit of cooking.
So far I'm thinking:
Croissants, jam.
Pan au chocolat.
Orange/apple juice.
We have an oven/hobs etc, but i don't want to be cooking loads of stuff whilst people are here. Any help is appreciated!

What about fruit salad, greek yogurt with honey etc.?
You can put them in nice bowls, make it look fancy but it won't take a huge amount of time to set up or require any cooking! 0 -
Fruit salad is a good idea. Greek yogurt and honey can be put into a big bowl for people to help themselves.
Maybe a selection of fresh breads? You can get them from supermarkets now with olives baked in (so yummy) and butter/different jams.
Can't go wrong with fruit juice, yogurt and croissants.0 -
The Old Style forum would be helpful tooNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

You could add a bowl or muesli or granola ( is there a difference ??) so people could layer with fruit and yoghurt.0 -
Great so far! Thanks everyone!0

egg muffins are good for making in advance.
Use and egg for each hole available in a muffin tray, bit of salt. Then you can add other ingredients as you wish (cheese is normally a go to). I like mine with sausage bacon and mushroom. But can easily use peppers, mushroom, onions, spinach etc for the veggies. Basically mini omelettes.0 -
Easy to concentrate on the veggies here but do not forget the rest!
Fage Total youghurt or Skype with honey, nuts (flaked almonds, walnuts, hazels) all go well together plus frozen berries, banana figs etc.
Plain old boiled eggs, hams, cheese, tomatoes, peppers etcetera for a tasty continental selection.
Precook sausages rewarm in microwave or mushrooms.
All can be piled into croissants or put on toast
Last but not least cereals -best being porridge, real oats, pinch of salt three times the volume of milk and eight to ten minutes in a microwave0 -
Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
Bagels (preferably with cream cheese and smoked salmon).
Personally, I wouldn't serve breakfast cereal at a brunch.0
