Victim of identity fraud, and now it seems my Credit Score is dropping

I know. And I'm not trying to be a scrooge, but if I'm requesting it every month (or more) and Experian take a week to prepare it each time (still have no idea why it takes them so long), then it's more the faff than the cost, I guess.
(And, I'm still so angry about the entire situation that every extra cost, hassle and use of my time, no matter how small, is really frustrating me. It doesn't help that because I caught it reasonably early, and I'm not significantly out of pocket, I'm unable to file a crime report so there is no investigation or consequence for the perpetrator, and I'm left to mop up a ton of mess by myself. On top of all of it, even if I've seen the end of the fraud, I'll be dealing with the fallout for at least a couple of years.)
