Gyms in cardiff

We are looking to join a gym in cardiff, preferably in roath, city centre or cathays. Not sure where there are any decent ones around . . . live close to daves gym but heard it isnt that great and over priced.

Any help appreciated!

we normally use the one at maindy. it is the best of all the cardiff council gyms we have tried, and with reasonable rates to boot. the council run gym in pentwyn is alright too, although not as good as maindy IMHO.

private gyms i cant comment on... too expensive for my liking!

The gym in Maindy has a brilliant personal trainer, who is very good value for money, good facilities all round
