  • I decided not to wait any longer and submitted the appeal to POPLA.

In the 2000 word box I wrote something along the lines of "Grounds for appeal and evidence are attached in the PDF document".

I will let you know how everything goes on this thread in a few days.

I will try to attach the whole PDF file here in a few hours so you can see the whole appeal I sent.
  • Here is the POPLA appeal I sent. It is hosted on Scribd.com, I don't think you need an account to view it:

You did the correct thing by putting a comment in the 2k word limit box and attaching the pdf.

The pics all appear OK. The links in it are dead but an assessor could easily type them in a search box. I hope the account isn't in your real name. Please confirm that or amend it before anyone turns your link to a live one.

  • Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm new. Please can anyone advise me if I should appeal to popla. I parked in a smart parking carpark to collect my children, I didn't leave my car or turn it off, but the grandparents handed me Christmas presents and said their goodbye to the children this took from entering to leaving 16 minutes. I didn't get a ticket as I wasn't expecting to be that long. I have appealed to smart parking who refused and gave me a popla code. Should I appeal or pay??
    Thank u

Many thanks, and I am not sure what you mean about the real name, do you mean the Scribd account?

If so, I just changed it so it doesn't show personal info anymore, thanks for that.
