Vax Steam cleaner tools and accessories

Hi.

I was wondering if any of the Vax steam cleaner tools and accessories are interchangable?

The Vax website is pretty confusung. We have the S84 W7 P model. The VAX site has all the tools on there but they're pricey. There seem to be lower cost tools and attachments on various spares websites for all models apart from ours, in particular the S86 models.

Now they're both upright cleaners but I know that may mean nothing. Does anybody know if S86 attachments/tools will fit our S84?

Any good all those tools fit your Vax model.

I didn't look on Vax website so don't know if these are cheaper.

Sorry, I don't think I explained clearly.

I know how to search for tools for my specific model. What I want to know is if the tools that sell marked for other models, or that come with other models, will fit mine.... So for example, will the S86 ranges accessories fit my S84 W7.

If anyone has an answer, it will be through experience of owning Vax cleaners - not from Googling.
