Renting Advice - Credit Reference Agency

Hi,
Me and my partner are about to rent a property and we need to go through a company called LetAlliance.
I am wondering what kind of information LetAlliance can gather from my credit report, I have read that it is public data only but I would like to know if anyone on here has had experience with them before/recently.
I have never missed payments but I use my credit cards frequently, I wanted to know if they can see that.
I cant seem to find an example report online or anything.
I am in Scotland.
Thank you for any help in advance.

No they cant see that. Even if you defaulted they wouldn't see that either0

How interesting. So its an extremely limited view of my report based on public records alone?
Thanks for your quick reply, its made me feel quite a bit better.0 -
Depends what they ask for:
They can run a credit-check (with your agreement) - from what you say, should be OK.
https://www.callcredit.co.uk/markets-served/estate-agents-and-letting-agents/tenant-vetting-and-referencing
(There are 10's of companies running these checks: All are different).
They can ask current & previous landlords for references (with your agreement): Dunno what they will say.
They can check the Sheriff Court decree register to see if you are there...

Of course, if you refuse to permit them to check these things (as is your right..) suspect we all know what they will do.
Nothing to stop them asking to see, say, last 3 months payslips & bank statements.0 -
Thanks for the reply,
Yeah, LetAlliance is the company that will be doing the credit check, they are a third party referencing agency. I discussed with them and they told me it was a soft check, primarily looking at CCJs, Insolvencies etc.
From what I have seen Letting agency and their reference checking agencies can only see public data from the credit report, I guess thats what I wanted to double check on here.
As I said, I havent missed a single payment in my life, have no CCJs, Insolvencies, IVAs or anything of that nature.0
