Elgin today had wheeled plastic storage boxes 500x400x300 and underbed plastic boxes for 50p.

Can you tell me the number for these underbed boxes as i saw some in our local b and q but as they were not on the web site i didnt get them to price check them

I am really annoyed at my local store i have been trying to find the seagrass baskets 5015772192988 and they have been showing as in stock since last week but when i rang up monday they said no stock but checked in store anyway again no stock i went again wednesday to get some boxes and was told there is 5 in stock but they cant find them

I looked on the website last night still showing as in stock and it was updated yesterday so i rang up again saying there is 5 in stock but they cant find them
I think they have been put out the back for the staff but as i cant prove that its annoying though

I doubt they'll have been put away for staff to be honest. We (at another B&Q) regularly show as having a small quantity of stock left but can't find them, especially when it is something like this where originally there will have ben literally hundreds. It's very easy for a couple to have been picked up by a customer and put somewhere else or for a member of staff to have used a box to put things in around the store.

It is just so annoying though

How can one says theres stock and another checks and say no stock i wouldnt care if the staff had got them(good luck to them) just make sure the computer is updated showing no stock available so people like me dont waste their time running about after something that is not there

Don't bother with Stockport - lots of things showing as low stock turned out to be single items with half the contents missing - wasted journey!!!

Afraid I did not get the No as I didn't buy any of those, only the larger boxes. They are B&Q Form underbed boxes with one piece lid with a compartment for air freshener / mothballs.

I wondered why when I went to buy some shelves last weekend at B&Q all the shelve shelves were completely empty.

I had to go to focus in the end...

Thanks for post. Found some in the B&Q just off J32 on M62. Not much left now though. Mostly the shelf boards in Cherry at 50p each.

Dont give up hunting! Went to B&Q Erdington on Sunday for some bathroom sealant and just had to look for cheap storage boxes. Found two of the suede suitcases, one shoe hanging rack (had to climb on a box to get it of the shelf much to hubby's disgust:rotfl: ), one set of two beige patterned CD boxes and one three drawer sea grass unit. Went off to the till hoping that they all went through at 50p - they did - one very happy bunny and one embarrassed hubby after my mountaineering trip. SA said they are cheap are there any more (daft bloke if there had been more they would have been in my arms :rotfl: ).

Plan to go again to take the extra sealant that we bought back so will have to force myself to have another look.

Eastleigh store seem to be getting more and more in.
Picked up some large rolling storage boxes with locking brown lids for 50p, but what got me is they had the large green ones as well, but all 80 of them had reserved for a customer!
Someone must be having a big clearout:o
