I also agree that its always best to cook frozen cheese, but only cos it can be crumbly after and hard to slice.0 -
Interesting. Doesn't it tend to stick together into a hard lump?
I grate it on the 'big' slicer so I get pieces that are about 5mm wide and 30mm long rather than the almost-powder like the pre-grated stuff comes.
Same as you'd grate cheddar, I guess.
I put it in a Tupperware (other makes are available) box and give it a shake before I open it to take out what I need.
I tried this years ago when I bought a lot of parmesan reduced to a silly price.0
