Marbles credit building card.. how best to use?

just after some advice in regards to making the most of a new credit card to slowly help repair my credit file after a dmp..

so basically i have taken out a marbles card and my understanding is that i should use it reguarly and clear the full statement balance each month. in regards to this how much should i be spending on the card? i have googled and found 30% seems to come up quite often does this sound about right? also with there being such a gap between statement (6th of the month) and direct debit (25th of the month) if my statement balance totals 30% of my limit should i not be using the card between this period, say approching 50% of limit or is it just the statement balance that really counts?

any point in the right direction would be great thanks
