Disabling flash?

Hi folks,
Got an SSD drive but browsing on IE and even other browsers seem to be sluggish of recent on windows 7. On windows 10 seems to fly along.
Wonder is there an easy way to disable flash on IE so as to test if that might help.
Don't have many programs starting with computer either.

if you have an older piece of hardware and just imaged your old drive to the ssd, check that Trim is enabled.
Also in the bios check that the drive is known as either AHCI or raid, not ide. Dont change anything without having a backup.

nothing to do with flash though, but may help with load of cookies, and temp files in a browser.0 -
Maybe you've got a corrupt browser profile or some kind of add-on is slowing down the browsers. You could try creating a secondary clean profile to see if the issues still occur:
