Sun Holidays - European Breaks

Options
Hi

Can anyone advise on previous availability of European breaks via Sun Holidays on the July advertised dates? What is availability like on other school holiday dates?

Have had many Sun Holidays in UK and thinking of venturing into Europe - any good advice/warnings/pitfalls/details of hidden costs welcome. Mainly thinking of Spain.

Thanks in advance

Kay

We went to France the first week of the school hols last year. It was our first Sun holiday abroad and it was great. The cost of the holiday itself was cheaper than a UK one as there were no entertainment passes to pay for and the service charge was slightly cheaper than a lot of the UK ones. Obviously we had the Eurotunnel to pay for though! Chose the tunnel as it was only slightly more expensive but offered us a quicker journey and was a lot more flexible (we decided to take a detour on the way back and we were able to change the time a couple of weeks before for free!) Overall I'd definitely do it again but our son has different school hols at his new school so miss out on summer but will definitely look to go May half term next year. We got our second choice on the website (first choice was Paris so suspect that was very popular or had limited availability). 7 day breaks were available but I booked Monday to Friday then instantly regretted it so logged back on and managed to add the friday to Monday and so glad we did - it was a long drive and we did loads of travelling while we were there. We were 3 hours away from Paris so drove up one day, explored the city, stayed in an airbnb overnight for £50 and did Disney the day after and drove back very late the next night. Had a brill time :-)

Did I manage to miss our invading and annexing Europe when I was away in, err Europe?
