Hi, I am a FD customer and generally happy. I have been with them for a long time and wondered if any other provider has as good a website where I can log onto all my accounts held with other institutions just through FD or is it just them? any recommendations???

Are you talking about Internet Banking Plus? This is only theirs as far as I know, and the fact it's ActiveX suggests to me it's not going to be around that much longer (cynic hat on).
Money Dashboard works similarly and has an app. It doesn't belong to any bank.0 -
Although not a bank account "provider", I believe this is the system behind FD's Internet Banking Plus (and the old Egg Money Manager which YBS ran for a while)...

...and is used by a few regulars on here.0 -
My personal favourite would be the layout of Lloyd's Bank and Halifax's internet banking. It's easy to login on both the web and on mobile apps and they allow you to do practically anything.
Im also a fan of First Direct's internet banking as they're my main bank. But I think my favourite would be the Lloyd's and Halifax layout. I think TSB also use the same layout0 -
Yes, and Bank of Scotland.
I actually am happy with Internet banking on all that I have except the Coop/Smile- it's clich! already to slag off their new site but it's deserved.
Barclays has the best app(s), hands down. About the only thing going for it!0 -

It's what I am using. It's got an ancient user interface but it's brilliant and I couldn't be without it.0 -
Personally I would question the "as good as" phrase but that's another story. Depends what you are looking for: I like "B" for its app and analytics and the sweep from savings account to current account. On the other hand I like Natwest Reward for its rewards on household accounts. But I don't like TSB because it's not British in the light of Brexit and closed my TSB accounts. Yes, I know I'm being xenophobic but there you go.
Decide on what you want/need and shop around.0 -

Off-topic but why "odd"? I'm supporting the U.K. I also refuse to shop at Lidl and Aldi.0 -

Because it's a bit of an arbitrary reason that only really works if you look at it on a surface level. CYBG (only recently divested from National Australia Bank) and to a limited extent RBSG are likely at least partially foreign owned and their profits at least partially go overseas. Most large companies have some sort of foreign ownership. TSB still pay their taxes here as an inevitable cost of doing business here. Lidl and Aldi still employ British people, as does TSB.
Honestly if you want to "support the UK", use a local credit union or building society and don't shop in publicly-traded shops or supermarkets at all, because I can all but guarantee that you're going to end up supporting someone or something non-UK otherwise.urs sinserly,
