Integrated Washer...but Freestanding?!

May that be a daft question but our existing washer has just packed up. We're getting a new kitchen fitted in a couple of months. Can we use an integrated washer, but free standing? As in, will it work? Or is there something within the integration process that is needed in order to make the machine work?

They are free standing, ie they don't go in a cabinet. They just have a kitchen door on the front, so yes, it will work without an extra door for decorative purposes only.

Great, thank you! I suspected that would be the case but didn't want to spend £800 to find I can't use it til the new kitchen is fitted!:rotfl:

In the dim & distant past, when I used to work for a living, some integrated machines had a base that was bolted to the floor. I don't know if any do that nowadays, it was just to stop it leaping about & damaging adjacent units. It doesn't mean you couldn't use it freestanding, just that you'd have the hassle of fixing it down.
