I also add that parking charge notices should be given as a pre estimated loss of earnings. you will need to provide me with proof of any loss of earnings from the dates which you have supplied the car/cars in question where parked there and provide me with the information as to why each parking charge notice is £150

i have also added this in, what do you think?

Not really, since the Beavis case this line of defence has been severely undermined.

Just go with what you have drafted (excluding the above). Nothing other than a cheque to Gladstones is going to put them off the pursuit of this. At the moment all their paperwork to you is automatically generated (now known as a robo-claim), it is doubtful that they will even read what you've put, let alone respond sensibly to it.

What you are writing now is really for a judge (at some time further into the future, should this ever get to a court stage) to read to show you have not been unreasonable in dealing with this claim. Ignoring the correspondence from G's would more likely be seen as being unreasonable so you do need to keep responding to them when you inevitably receive the next template letter from them.

If the worst happens and court papers are served, there are people on this forum who can help in the preparation of a defence. As far as we know, G's have not progressed fully to court with anyone we have helped with a defence.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There will be a court claim. Almost certainly, Gladstones don't stop until they lose or realise they WILL lose in court.

So then you go to the NEWBIES thread first and read the links under 'Small Claim?' and acknowledge it online via MCOL, then come back here to research and draft your defence wording.
