Hi all - thought I'd share my experience with Bauer.

When you set up a subscription with them, it's done as a recurring direct debit. Their policy is that, if there are no changes to the amount, then they will not send any reminder of the renewal. The first you will see is on your bank statement.

If you decide to cancel, then they will cease only from the end of the current payment period (in my case, a year from now less a couple of weeks).

I have never had another subscription service that did not refund for the unmailed issues.

I know that we should all be savvy and set up calendar reminders, and read all the terms and conditions of everything we do online, but for the rest of us, I hope this is useful.
