Panoramic shot maker

The Arcsoft panorama maker I have is not compatible with windows 10 it seems. Panasonc kindly sent me updated software for my camara (Lumix FZ28) so all I am really short of now is a 'picture stitcher'. Any recommendations?
I liked arcsofts product, for free (bundled with the camera) it did a great job and much better on most photos than Canon's provided Picture Stitch for photo geometric alignment and picture to picture transitions -except in stitching together scanner images of document sections.
What do you use pros and cons, please. (MSE: free preferred just for that one function as I have adequate software for all other edit tasks). If it can stitch together shots with different original exposures all the better.

I've used Autostitch but only up to Win7. Check out the limitations on the use of the demo version, though: http://matthewalunbrown.com/autostitch/autostitch.html
There was a Microsoft free download of another auto panorama maker but I forget the name of it. That was also a demo / research thing.0 -
these are free ones

Here is an old comparison, but they both have gad upgrades since then, MS one was easier but hugin gave better results and more tuneable.

ICE is a great choice - it can even create a panoramic from a video clip

Run a windows 7 virtual machine in windows 10? Use compatibility mode?
I do it the other way around, Windows 7 install. Windows 10 in a VM along with Linux Mint and Windows 7 and XP and even windows 98..
I find it funny getting someone to shut down windows and they do it and then windows it still running.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Ok a couple of possibilities there.
Forgotyourname, that is probably workable but would not be my first choice, preference is to just open the program and load the pics!0 -
Definitely ICE. Best I've used by far, free and W10 compatible.0
