HI There,

I paid Apex my outstanding debt of 400.00 4 years ago now. I paid 200.00 one month and then 2 weeks after i found that i had another 200.00 to spare so paid this directly.

After contacting them about this numerous times and sending my bank statements to show i paid it they sold my 'debt' onto Robinson way.

So i contacted Robinson way and told them the same thing , sent my statements in etc. however they said they contacted Lloyds ( who it was originally with and said they haven't herd from them.

since then i have herd nothing no matter how much i contacted them they didn't seem bothered.

i looked on my credit file and it is still there under closed cases saying owe them 200.00!!

Any one got any advice ? i need it sorted asap

You could try taking the matter up with the credit reference agencies initially, as they might be able to get your file corrected. Otherwise put a complaint in writing, and escalate the issue to the Financial Ombudsman Service if it still doesn’t get resolved.
