Bank of Scotland - Classic Account - Multi Accounts

Hi Everyone,

Ive just opened a new account with BoS to take advantage of their higher interest. I just wondered if anyone else has open multi BOS accounts to max out and how did you do this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With regard to setting up additional BOS accounts, some posters have found that they can set up additional accounts on line, others that they needed to telephone to set them up.

Applying for the second account is very straightforward. In internet banking you can apply for new products. You can then apply for a second current account.
I assume the process is exactly the same for the third account. I need to apply for a third soon.
  • Thank you both for the replies very much appreciated. I presume there isnt any restriction on the number current accounts you can have in your own name? I thought you may have to have one in your name, a joint account and then one in your partners. But if you can do all this in your own name then it makes it alot easier. thanks again

You can have as many current accounts as you like.

Each bank will have its own limits on how many they will offer you, so you can't have lots and lots at one bank, just a few at each. But you can have lots and lots across several banks.

I think BoS limit you to three Vantage accounts?
