Hello,
I recently have undergone surgery on my finger which has meant that I am unable to fulfil the benefits of my golf membership. I am due to be out of action for at least 3 months, what is my right to cancel as it was a 12 month contracted direct debit.
thank you to anyone that can help.

Perhaps you need to read your contract.
Does it offer early termination for 'ill health' reasons?0 -
If you are still in the 12 month period then you probably don't have the right to cancel, but speak to the club they may offer to let you cancel it or suspend your membership until you are fit enough to pay again.0

No early cancellation will be possible, but the Golf Club may offer to suspend membership for a period due to your injury.
Obviously, you will still be liable for the remaining months of your minimum term when your membership is reactivated.
However, if you think you won't ever be returning, you may be able to negotiate a Early Termination of Contract (ETC) fee with them.
Check the terms of the legally binding contract you signed.0 -
Strange you would want to cancel a golf membership in the middle of winter wouldn't we all.0
