Ok here's my story. I went to longwater retail park today to go to the range for wallpaper. I took my little 5 year old along. We got the wallpaper from the range and put it in the car, I then noticed Staples had a closing down sale so went in for a look around. Didn't get to look around as my little girl wanted a wee and starting "asking" to go home for one ( she's a fussy toilet user).
Anyway I went home and asked my 15 year old son if he wanted to go back and have a look around the sale and go to sports direct at the same time. We went back and bought stuff from Staples and Sports direct. Wasn't until I left I noticed the car park now had a load of signs up saying 5 hours limit. I thought I was ok as the combined trips had been less than that. Trouble is it also says no return within 1 hour!
Should I expect to get a ticket now through the post for this, would be harsh if I do as I spent around £200 at the retail park this afternoon and use it regularly as it has Argos, boots and the others listed above.

Easy to beat at POPLA even with a jokey appeal!

Come back and send a REAL appeal though (from the NEWBIES thread) if you do get a PCN. Also of course, you will be complaining to the Store Managers although Staples have a far better customer service reputation that Sports Direct, IMHO!
Easily seen off, have a laugh at those links and 'worry ye not'. You will not be paying a penny.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
