seville to Faro??

I have the offer of an apartment in Praia details Luz for a week, and as I quite fancy a trip to Seville was looking to do a few days there at the start of the holiday but am wondering about the transfer.
I'm not keen on driving, but also wasn't sure about picking up a car in one country and leaving it in another as we will be flying back from Faro.
As far as I can see, the other option is bus from Seville to Faro then make way to Luz from there. Does anyone have any information about buses from Seville to Faro and any pitfalls - don't want to be stuck on a bus all day.
Thanks.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

There are trains from Seville Santa Justa to Huelva, see Bahn.de and Renfe.es

I did the journey by bus (Eurolines, I think) the other way (Faro to Seville) a few years ago. It took less than three hours. It was perfectly fine.

    I'll look at those - I thought I'd read there weren't any.
