Hello

Happy New Year everyone.

Has anyone had trouble trying to claim credit off British gas? I've viewed my account online after submitting a meter reading. I'm now £350 in credit,

How did you claim your money?

    Phone them and have up to date meter readings on hand. Then ask for a refund.

    Personally I would only be happy to accept half of it and leave the other half to look after the big gas bills which will be coming in in the next three months.The time to get a gas refund is around April, not January.You will only be giving it back to BG to cover the bigger gas bills in the next three months. If you live in a warmer part of the UK maybe March is the OK to get at a zero credit level on gas

    I was nearly £1000 in credit. Asked for it back and they put it in my account within the week.
