Exceeds marked bay & Signage

Hi Folks, Can anybody help me please?
I'm trying to appeal against an INVOICE received by my partner who is supposed to have exceeded marked bay area which he denies, he denies that it is even just over! Unfortunately his phone had run out of battery so he couldn't take a photo! Grrr
The car park concerned has very little signage on display there, the only one's that are there are small contract law signs displayed as you go in at floor level & one to the side of the 3 pay meters. Is that all they need?
I thought they had to display larger more visable signs about parking, am I wrong?
Many thanks

in addition to the above, Whats a t3 pay meter? From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
The Company is PPS Premier Parking Solutions and it's across the road from a railway station.0

sorry that should read 3 pay meters, the t shouldn't have been there.0

Premier Parking Solutions used to a member of the BPA but are not any longer but they do belong to the IPC.:(0

It says it's a private Car park.0

Just noticed that on the signs welcoming you into the car park ( Ha Ha) The signs say it's a BPA member which is not correct!
Will that help me?
Should they have updated their signage legally?0 -
there are two ATAs as youb have now found out , the BPA and the ias , as well as being ATAs the BPA offers an "affiliated" mebership , ie a "boys club" , your local counsil will be in this "xmas" patrty club as well!
the clue is in the signage , they both (the bpa and IPC) use round (curcular ) roundels to show ATA membershoip , but the words IPCor BPA spelt out on a rectangle for the "boys club"
if the signage shows BPA then its obvious that the IPC has not audited the signage , which is about rightSave a Rachael
