Improving Crediting Rating While Paying CCJ

Will my credit score improve while paying off a CCJ?
I understand the CCJ will stay on my credit file for 6 years and make it impossible to get credit during that time.
But, will six years of consistent payments towards the CCJ made on time actually count as a positive on my credit file and improve my score.
To frame it another way if my credit score is now at 0 with the CCJ's applied, after 6 years of consistent payments will it show improvement (even if it is just marginal).
My end goal is to get a mortgage. I'm wondering will I have to wait 6 years and then a further amount of time spent rebuilding my rating or will 6 years of paying CCJs and keeping my credit nose clean possibly put me in a position to get a mortgage as soon as the CCJs disappear from my file.

Your credit score means jack. Ignore it.
Lenders will view you more positively as negatives get older and you build up positive history.0 -

Would you say that paying off a CCJ over six years with no blips would count as positive history?
Thanks for you response.0 -

Not really no, as long as you have a CCJ, the damage is done.
Your credit worthiness will not improve until the CCJ has been expunged from your file.
It will then be up to the lenders how they view you as a potential customer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
