Oh sorry, I have another question and it's very selfish I'm afraid. We bought a pushchair 10 months ago and whilst I was away, there was a problem with the wheel so OH took it back to Mothercare. We went to pick it up to day and whilst it looks like its fixed, the ball barings that came loose are banging around inside the tubes. I asked the staff what had been repaired, they didn't know and there was no job chit, receipt or anything just a verbal assurance that the repair had been carried out. I said I wasn't happy with that and since we had the receipt I would like an exhange or a full refund. They said I wasn't entitled to one I said I was, statutory rights and all that and they still said no. ANyway I said I wasn't prepared to take the buggy in that state without some evidence at least that repair work had been carried out on it. Can I demand a refund if it inside 1 year?????This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I would call their head office up and ask for customer complaints. You have every right to be worried about the pram. Your childs safety should be of the utmost importance to them, and I would be inclined to complain to trading standards if you don't get anywhere!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
