welcome back keren. Hubby just called from the road, I feel a bit sad now. On the one hand I love being at home with the kids and doing normal stuff. Touring drives me mad and I am still suffering a little bit of burn out, not enjoying playing like I used to. On the other hand, I miss the buzz and feel a bit bored (already). Sigh, never happy am I.
It's like, when I'm touring being around people 24 hours a day grates on me, I need my little bit of space, which I don't get for weeks on end. But now I'm home; I'm a bit lonely. Sorry, just needed to vocalise that (in writing)

oh no toto thats awful! Kids eh!
OK to answer questions! (sorry was on phone to mum!) Yes I do feel very proud and like a different person! Not wild about my chickedn neck, bingo wings & hanging tummy but ho-hum it was either that or continue to be a weeble! I started lighterlife on 21 March at 15 1/2 stone & finished exactly 6 months later 4 1/2 stone lighter. In short the secret was I paid 66 a week & did not eat a single morsel of food for that 6 months. Hand on heart can say I didnt cheat once! I am INCREDIBLY proud of myself and it's given me confidence I never had before! I am under no illuson that I have suddenly turned into a top model (at 5 feet nowt thats unlikely to happen!!) but I learned the word "no" in that time! Also learned to identify my triggers (tired...bad day at work or just plain fed up!) and realise that I dont need food to anethatise life! If you are struggling with weight (& toto that is NOT you mrs, you look gorgeous!) & want to discuss in private please feel free to pm me! Thank you for all your lovely comments! They are appreciated! It does take time to adjust from being a weeble to in the range of normal & I still cant get over the fact that men seem facinated with my chest!! Talking to it even!! As a fat oerson you are invisibe which is odd bearing in mind that I was so big! Takes a while to get my head round!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! aaaaahhh Toto, big hug for you.
My OH spent about four years working in South Africa, three weeks on and a week off and I loved it when he was away, but I loved it even more when he was home. I think the time at home was made better by the absences. Kept the marriage fresh.
He is at home all the time now, he got a bit fed up of travelling. Now he misses it!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

aaahhhh........for some reason I thought you had done lighter life.
I don't think I would ever be able to stick to it. I've looked at the sachets on ebay and I know there are NLP meetings each week but I have a bit of an 'addiction' to putting something in my mouth (oo-er!!!) i've tried Slim Fast before and usually last 2 days if I'm lucky!! Cooking is my passion, I think I'd be climbing the walls trying to get creative with a sachet of strawberry shakeI need to do something urgently though........
I might dig out my Paul McKenna NLP eating CD's, they are somewhere gathering dust........"Stay Wonky":D

I don't sing much, apart from some backing vocals. I am a session drummer
You're right it certainly isn't the glam life everyone thinks it is, that's why most musos end up in rehab. Playing always used to be my drug, I loved it. Now, I don't have the passion I once had which has made it much harder.
I wish I knew what I want to be when I grow up:A

I did do LL...it is a mixture of NLP & CBT if thats any help! Yes not putting fod in is hard but drining 4 litres of water a day helps toward that - as do constant loo trips!! I didnt think I'd do it (& neither did anyone who knew me LOL!!) but I did, thus immense pride that I did! Now back to ww but this bottle of wine putting serious dent in points!aaahhhh........for some reason I thought you had done lighter life.

Fish, sticking to lighter life makes me even more proud of you. I could never replace food with liquid (apart from wine but that doesn't count does it?).:A
