I had turp op for prostate cancer that left me completely incontinent initially but I have had bladder sling and the incontinence has gone away. I still have 9 packets (30 in a pack) Tena Flex Super large from the continence service laying about which I now don't need, after looking online they retail at £19 a packet so that £171. Do you think the continence services want them back or can I put them on ebay?

There's only one way to know the answer to that - ASK THEM!
Glad the op was successful!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
If they don't want then back then could you offer them to somewhere such as a local care home? It seems wrong to me to make money out of them. Glad the op worked.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Our continence service won't take back any packs, even if they haven't been opened. When my son became continent, I passed the leftover packs to friends who have children with similar difficulties.
I agree with Tory's idea to donate them to a local care home.0 -
As well as care homes a hospice may also take them off your hands, or a local support group.
If no one will take them then sell them and donate the money to an appropriate charity.0 -
When Mum died, we had several packs of incontinence pads left - our district nurses were happy to take the unopened packs from us.0

I would donate to a private individual or hospice , but not a care home, as that would just save the owner some more money, without benefitting the clients.0

People in a care home get incontince supplies from the NHS as do people in a hospice.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
