Purchases you DO regret

What do you wish you'd never wasted your hard-earned money on?
This one is embarrassing, but for me it was a bikini that promised to boost my cup size. I spent over £100 (yes, a hundred!) on a 'Voda Swim Envy' bikini. It was absolutely horrible, didn't fit at all and seemed to be made out of misshapen cardboard. They wouldn't refund it. You live and learn I guess!
What about your worst purchases?

A long, long time ago when i had more money than sense i bought an illuminating face powder that looked gorgeous and smelled of violets.
First time i put it on my face, i came out in huge sore spots.
That was [STRIKE]£100[/STRIKE] a lot of money wasted.:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner when it was on a special offer. It was unwieldy, kept clogging up and the drive belt broke TWICE. After that it went to the local tip/recycling centre. The attendant there said they got more Dysons than any other make. When dancing with dragons, don't let your partner lead.0

A Good Housekeeping top pan weighing scale.
Brilliant for weighing things. In 20 seconds bursts.
It doesn't matter if you've finished or not, the bloody thing automatically cuts out after 20 seconds.
Useless. Absolutely useless. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Can't decide which of these is the regret/ non regret

Many moons ago, my friend and I bought tanning tablets. I don't remember where we got them, this was pre-internet days... and they actually did tan us.
I say tan, more like a healthy orange that wouldn't go astray in most nightclubs today.
It also turned our palms orange.
As well as the soles of our feet...
We stopped taking them at that point.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Husband would say it's the Dyson Animal cordless. Doesn't actually want to pick up anything bigger than a crumb and its not overly keen on picking those up either. Only just over a year old and its now taking longer to charge and not running for as long either. Can't see him wanting to buy another one.0 -
I spent £85 on a second hand Michael Kors watch. I wore it twice and the strap broke! Got my money back on it though. Was so gutted as it was a beautiful watch but OH cheered me up by buying me a brand new one from a reputable jewellers complete with 5 year full extended warranty for Christmas*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
