This year Reebok celebrates the 25th anniversary of one of the most successful women's footwear collections of all time... 'The Freestyle'.

Launched in the 1980s, the Freestyle revolutionised womens casual footwear. It was initially introduced as a women's aerobic shoe and prompted the aerobics craze in the 80s. It then soon caught on as a fashion style to be worn away from the gym and exercise!

During an appearance at the 1985 Emmy Awards, Cybill Shepherd turned heads when she wore bright Orange Reebok Freestyles with a strapless dressy gown on the red carpet - a look recently adopted by stars like Lily Allen.
Others fans of the Freestyle include Cindy Crawford and Paula Abdul back in the 80s, plus more recently Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse and Scarlett Johansson all who have been spotted wearing them.
