Experian report incomplete, financial information missing.

Hello :hello:
I haven't signed in for a long time but I've been lurking away in the background!!
I had reason to believe something wasn't quite right with my credit report recently so requested my statutory report from Experian. When it arrived it had all my address links, financial associates etc but it only listed three credit accounts all of which were settled in 2014. Now, I'm no huge money saving expert but I have more accounts than most people I know to make the most of various switch incentives and regular savers etc as well as my mortgage and three credit cards. None of this information is on my report which can't be a good thing when applying for future credit?!
I imagine it's something to do with the post office changing our postcode this year but I can see the address links listed so why wouldn't the rest of my financial information be there? I can't join the MSE credit club as they can't verify who I am and I've just tried Equifax via Clearscore who give me the same unverifiable story too. I don't want to be unverifiable!! Noddle reports everything with no problems.
I've emailed Experian but not sure how helpful they will be as I'm not a pay monthly member. Has anyone else had anything similar happen? What did you do to solve the issue?
Thank you

Hi Debtfreeby30, I understand you have information missing from your Experian report and would like to look into this for you.
When you apply for a statutory credit report, the report will contain all the information that we hold in your name at the addresses supplied in the application.
Although address links may be listed on your report, information in your name at these addresses will only appear if the addresses were provided in your application.
It may be that information is under a different version of your current address as you mention your postcode has changed lately, if you email your details (name, DOB and address) to uksocialsupport@Experian.com I can get this checked for you.
My blog also covers what can cause missing information in more detail here.
Kind regards Neil.“Official Company Representative

My wife just tried to get credit and was told there was an issue. We signed up to Experian to find out what the issue was as found an incorrect TalkMobile delinquent account for £5 that had been there for about 14 months. This has caused her credit score to go to very poor. When we contacted TalkMobile they saw that the account was incorrect and waived the £5 immediately but said that it could take up to 8 weeks for the credit reference agencies to be updated. My wife needs to get her finance sorted for her new car by this Wednesday !!!
What gives Experian and other agencies the right to give people such a low credit rating for such a paltry amount that has been submitted to them in error by TalkMobile? Doesn't anyone sense check these systems?
She is very embarrassed and fuming!!!!0 -

Its still a debt despite it being a paltry amount.
As for the score dropping, its just a number, lenders etc don't see it.
Your wife should have checked her report before hand to check for any errors. The finance company might even be ok with the default showing.0
