What's 'NIA'?
Is it the Barclaycard Arena?
This may help:

Assuming you don't mean any one of the places called Birmingham in the USA or other parts of the world, this may also help you to post on the right board:

There is a big carpark right on site or you could catch a train to New Street and walk.0

If the responses already given haven't answered your question I would repost on the Motoring board rather than the UK Holidays board that Pollycat provided the link to. And if you do that, you need to say where you are starting from.

When did they rename the NIA? It will always be the NIA to me. I spent many a nerve racking 20+ seconds in there lol, when my son was an athlete.
There's a big car park on site, unless that's changed as well

An alternative car park close by is in Brindleyplace. It's just a short walk across the canal bridge to the arena. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes there if required. Entry is off Sheepcote Street.
There is no park and ride.0 -

http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/all-about/national-indoor-arena-birminghamOne of Europe’s largest indoor music and sporting venues opened in Birmingham in 1991 as the National Indoor Arena (NIA). Top acts to have played the venue include Elton John, Beyonce, Iron Maiden, Madonna, Black Sabbath, Bob Dylan and Oasis. It has hosted Davis Cup tennis, international indoor athletics and is the former home of TV show Gladiators. The 12,802 capacity arena was renamed the Barclaycard Arena in December 2014 following a £26m redevelopment. The arena is part of the NEC Group.0 -
