Acceptance in principal

I'm looking for what other people's experience is with these? Our mortgage advisor has requested one for us this morning and said that she may have an answer for us today however she has got back to us to say that it has been revered and she won't have an answer till Monday. We did have the AIP with the same bank in March when we first started looking and I don't remember it being referred then but I remember it took a few days but I just put that down to our old advisor being a bit dizzy :rotfl:

So my question is what has happened with other people's AIP and is it normal for this to happen? Advisor says it is but I'm not sure if she is saying it so we don't worry too much

We applied with Nationwide last week and we're referred. Got accepted the next day! I wouldn't worry. Good luck!

I was really hoping to have an answer today so it's a bit annoying, we have seen a house we want to offer on so we are only waiting for this so, buying and selling is so frustrating!
