Nationwide valuation report

Options
Hi guys,

I am a FTB so not too familiar with the process.

I am applying for a mortgage with Nationwide. I have received a text update today saying:" Hi, Nationwide here. We've received the valuation report for your mortgage application. We'll review this and be in touch if we need any more information." Is this a standard text since everyone else seems to receive text saying the valuation is satisfactory. Sorry if it is an obvious question but I am worry sick here :)

Thanks.

When I took a Barclays mortgage out last year, every single text said they were reviewing something or other. Don't start worrying at this early stage, or you'll be a nervous wreck by the time you get to exchange.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

I magine it means exactly what it says.

They've got the Valuation. They'll review it.

Yes it's standard. We had that word for word. 1 minute later I received hi, nationwide here. We're pleased to let you know we've issued a mortgage offer. So I suspect someone ticks a box on a system when a report is in and it automatically sends the text.
  • We had that on Thursday and by Friday we was told we had a mortgage offer...Waiting for the snail mail...Praying it's for the amount we asked for!

You would have been contacted if it wasn't.

Lenders don't issue offers for a different amount without first checking with the applicant.

It is very standard text. I got the same when we applied in November. Also got the mortgage offer text a few mins later!
